The Yankton County Auditor's Office has received the ballots for the upcoming June 2nd Primary. You are now able to come in to the Yankton County Commission Chambers to absentee vote starting on Monday, April 27th. You will want to make sure to bring a photo ID. We also have sample ballots available now too

The Yankton County Weed Department would like to remind that Yankton County landowners are required to control noxious weeds on their property. The Weed Department will begin their inspections on May 1, 2026.

A reminder to all residents that the first half of property taxes is due by April 30th. There are several convenient ways to pay. You can pay in person, by mail, by our secure drop box or you can pay on-line. For more information please see the Treasurer's page under the Departments tab or call our office.

Note: Due to new USPS regulations, mail may not be post marked on the day it was dropped off at the facility, potentially days later. Please keep this in mind when mailing your payments, so they are received in our office with a postmark date before the deadline, April 30th.
