The Yankton County Commission is hosting an informational meeting to discuss issues affecting our rural townships and also to outline the procedures and financial aspects for township secession from Yankton County.

The meeting is scheduled for Saturday February 29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the County Government Center. All are encouraged to attend.

The Yankton County Highway Department asks the cooperation of all rural residents living along Yankton County Roads and Unorganized Township Roads to remove their electric fences from the Yankton County Right-of-Way and not to push the snow from your farmyard and/or driveways onto the Yankton County Right-of-Way.
