Chairman Todd was elected to the Yankton County Commission January 2015 and has served as chairperson in 2015 & 2016. He serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Hwy 52 Corridor Committee, E911 Committee, Keep Yankton Beautiful, Safety Center Committee, and County Technology Liaison. Todd grew up outside of Tabor, SD and graduated from SDSU in 1995. He is currently employed at First Dakota National Bank as Vice President/Trust Officer and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Send an Email

Debra Bodenstedt

Vice Chairman Deb was elected to the Yankton County Commission in January of 2015. She serves on the Planning Commission, Board of Equalization, Yankton Area Progressive Growth Operations, Chairman of the Yankton County Railroad Authority, Chairman of the Yankton/Clay Creek Ditch Board, Yankton Federal Prision Community Relations Board, Emergency Planning, Homeland Security, Emergency Management Board and Joint City/Commission Planning Commission. Deb grew up in Wayne, NE, and has made Yankton her home for the past 6 years. She is a graduate of Wayne State College, St. Ambrose University and Naval War College. She is currently retired after a 28 year career with the US Navy. Before serving in the Navy, she was a high school teacher. Send an Email

Raymon Epp

Commissioner Ray and his wife Pam are fourth generation farmers. They farm outside of Mission Hill, SD. He runs a diversified operation of alfalfa, soybeans, corn and hogs. Ray sits on many agricultural related boards and is all about the future of this industry. He is a family man with community roots. Send an Email

Gary Swensen

Commissioner Gary grew up on the family farm in Yankton County. 2002-2005 Non traditional full time student U.S.D. Vermillion History Ed. Criminal Justice, Mechanics/Auto Body graduate U.S.D. Springfield. He worked for 25 years at Kaneb (NuStar) Pipeline and Great Lakes Naval Station Chicago, Il..(NAVFAC). Current Class A with Heavy equipment, scheduling, fleet purchasing, maintenance and experience on reconstruction of I-29 and I-90. Former third generation farmer and is a (former) Reserve Deputy for Yankton County Sheriff Dave Hunhoff... Vietnam Era Veteran past Commander of American Legion current member of Post #193 Irene, Recently retired from TransCanada (Keystone) Crude Oil Pipeline. Send an Email
