Important Information to Know
In accordance with the Federal Driver's Policy Protection Act of 1994 and South Dakota Codified Laws 32-5-144 through 32-5-155, proof of ownership and a government issued photo identification card must be provided for all motor transactions.
Please bring proof of ownership when renewing. This can be in the form of the following:
- Postcard/email renewal from the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Title(s)
- Registration(s)
- License plate number(s)
Reminder:
- A reminder to all residents that the second half of property taxes is due by October 31st. There are several convenient ways to pay. You can pay in person, by mail, by our secure drop box or you can pay on-line.
