2025 Commission Meetings

The last day to make any changes to your voter registration or to register to vote is Monday, May 18th by 5pm. If you would like to make any changes or to check out your current status please give our office a call or stop by.

The Yankton County Economic Development Task Force will meet Thursday, May 21 at 11:30 AM and the Financial Task Force will meet Tuesday, May 26 at 4:00 PM.

These meetings will be held at the Emergency Management Offices at 807 Capital St.

The Yankton County Government Center and all other Yankton County non-emergency offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026 in honor of Memorial Day. Thank you to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Reminder: Yankton County residents that have last names starting with H, I and O have until May 31, 2026 to renew vehicle registration.

The Yankton County Weed Department would like to remind residents, that SD Law requires that all landowners control noxious weeds on their property.
